Welcome to the Back to Basics, a unique celebration honoring and rekindling our deep connection with the Earth. This event is about returning to our roots by embracing homestead skills and the art of off-grid living. You'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in various workshops and demonstrations covering essential homesteading techniques.

The Back to Basics is not just an event; it's a movement towards a more sustainable, self-sufficient way of living. Whether you're a seasoned homesteader, just beginning your journey, or simply interested in learning new skills, there's something here for everyone. Come join us and be part of a community that welcomes all, values simplicity, sustainability, and a deep connection to nature.

Gates open at 1 pm on Thursday. Do not arrive after 9 pm on any day. Back to Basics is a fundraising event to help support All World Acres. The money paid for admission is a donation. No cash refunds.

Adult Full Event Admission is $60. This includes all workshops and activities for all 4 days. Camping is also included. It will be $70 at the gate. See below for more options.

The adult full-event admission includes full access to all the activities, workshops, and camping from Thursday at 1 pm to Sunday at 3 pm.

The youth full-event admission includes full access to all the activities, workshops, and camping from Thursday at 1 pm to Sunday at 3 pm.

At All World Acres we have always been proud that many people come here for their first visit to a festival or community gathering. We strive to make everyone feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. Want to make new friends? You'll find some of the nicest people you're ever going to meet. Want to remain solitary and just observe? There's plenty of room for privacy and everyone's wishes are respected.

General Information

The site for this event, All World Acres, has hosted more than 200 different events over the past 24 years. AWA is a not for profit sanctuary and campground that is supported by the community it serves. All the work done to prepare and facilitate this event is done by volunteers. Their only compensation is the satisfaction of working in a family-like environment to better the community at large. We hope all visitors will want to "join the community".

AWA is located at 4715 Bruton Rd. Plant City, Florida 33565. Admission is only permitted during scheduled events (no drop bys).

Reasons to Pre-Register

1. It cost less than at the gate.

2. Pre-registered will receive priority in activities that may have space limitations, such as the sweat lodge.
3. It makes it easier for the volunteers to prepare for the event.
4. It makes it easier for the volunteers working the registration booth at the event.
5. It provides the funds necessary for event preparation.
